Story behind the song
And now we get into the Rosa songs. I named this album in spanish because of a girl I work with who captured my fancy for 2 years. Because of her I learned Spanish, and this record has 6 songs on it devoted to her, and 1 song about the turmoil of loving her and having my ex jump back in my life. The girl has heard and had translated for her all these songs, her reactions were PRICELESS. In this song I express my frustrations with this girl, she'd flirt with me and drive me MAD by batting her little eyes at me and not being afraid to just stare at me completely aware I was staring at her, BUT SHE WOULDN'T GO ANYWHERE WITH ME!!! I found out later her brother wouldn't allow it, but at the time of writing this song I had no idea why.
