Story behind the song
One of my favorite albums is The Notorious B.I.Gs. "Ready to Die"; when listening to it, I can almost see life through a Brooklynite's eyes, so I made a beat that gives the feel, texture and somber hues, that can ultimately spark a picture of Biggie-like first-person story telling from the streets.
This beat tells a tale about the hood, the ghetto, a-day-in-the-life-of a real gangsta, dealer, fighter, lover, who's seen it, lived it and dealt with it all.
Fatally, the MC can eloquently articulate all the wisdom he's acquired from experiencing the streets, while he or she transcends Truth about surviving the everyday hustle in the game of life.
