A young lady I worked with was fired from her job because of the color of her skin. When I found out I was devastated. I had only heard about stuff like this on the new or in the movies.

I am a Folk Rock musician. My music is inspired by John Lennon and The Beatles.
As a kid I found sanctuary in the music of The Beatles. When things were bad at home I would put Meet The Beatles on my brothers turntable and dream of one day writing my own songs. I started playing guitar when I was 14 and wrote my first song at the age of 26. While my musical tastes have expanded over the years I am still a hug Beatles fan. I am a solo performer in Phoenix, Arizona. When I perform live I cover a variety of artists ranging from The Beatles and The Who to Sinatra and Gershwin. I am very excited about my latest C.D., "These Times". It's my third C.D. and this one is very different from the other two. Being a huge John Lennon fan I made an attempt at mirroring the sound from Lennon's Plastic Ono Band album. I love the feel and the sound of that album. Click on the link below to buy your copy. Story behind the song
Racism is alive and well in this fine country of ours. I had the misfortune of meeting an individual who openly proclaimed to be a racist and he somehow became a supervisor in a major bank in the southwestern U.S. He did everything he could to get rid of one of his employees because of the color of his skin.
