Story behind the song
A number of jazz standards are in the repertoire, as are some old-old blues songs, and a growing number of originals in the blue-jazz vein. A horn section of Bob McMahon on trumpet and Peter McWain on sax is occasionally joined by saxman Chuck Leo and multiple instrumentalist Rick Huyge. Ted Walsh does paino, guitar, bass, and vocals, and Mike Mangini plays drums, with Josh Taylor on bass, guitar, and vocals. McMahon takes a few turns on vocals as well. Look for the band in the Ithaca-Cortland area. It's just a lot of fun.
