My older work is mostly MIDI based, 99% composed with a mouse by clicking notes onto a digital score. My newer work is more mixed-media, including both fairly standard MIDI work as well as recorded sections from acoustic and electric instruments.

Story behind the song
This is one of the few pieces I've actually sequienced in from an instrument with midi input (one of the main differences between the jazz I do and the other stuff - the pieces are all learning excorsizes for me on the keyboard). Piano riff parts were recorded in real time and then cut/pasted around on the score.
