If you know me well, you'll know that I love music, films and comics and I'm pretty much a geek. You'll usually see me with my headphones around my ears and my fingers rhythmically waving to the beats. Since the early years of Primary School I've embraced music as my passion and way of expressing how I'm feeling, usually deep and provoked. I love film compositions such as those by Hans Zimmer, and the WB orchestra. The Matrix soundtrack is one of my favourites and I love the soundtrack to Jet-Li's Hero. I believe music heals the soul in some ways than others and it has the ability to move people spiritually and physically like when your on the treadmill running to the sounds of BT or Prodigy. Often I find my music to be of the electronic Depeche Mode age with a sense of my ego and quirky humour thrown into it to make it sound as fun loving as Timbaland and DanjaHandz's amaaaaaaaaazing beats and the Neptune's raw percussive snare, phased sweeps and guitar licks. I love all things Korg and aim to have my own set of Korg studio equipment. My fav albums are : Reanimation by Linkin Park, One Word Extinguisher by Prefuse 73 and Endtroducing by DJ Shadow. There was one Symphony written by Mozart which was Symphony No.9 but I forget which part it was but it sounded beautiful, big influence is Amadaeus! I love the randomness and ambient sounds of Warp Records and I love Manchester to bits. Leeds is an ace city to but Im proud to be of the North-West. Auteghre and Prefuse 73, they're style is admirable and so is their musical freedom and minimalism. I really like the sweet percussive sounds of R&B and alternatively the electro spring of the East Coast P.Diddy. All in all, if you like those kind of sounds and was a shy kid of the late 1980s and loved the sounds of the casio, the yamaha keyboards and the green-screened Amstrad. Then I'll chuck in reminders of that legendary age and my own perplexed alternative instrumental hip-hop and musical expression.
