Hi my name is Phill, I've been playing the guitar [or torturing it] since I was 14, 43 years ago, wow that seems such a long time ago now, but to me it's just like yesterday. I was inspired to become a musician when I heard "My Bonnie" by The Beatles back in 1962, it was played on Radio Luxembourg just the once and I caught it...brill. My mate Jeff and myself put our 1st band together after hearing Freddy and the Dreamers on Thank Your Lucky Stars, he had a guitar, so I made one from an old toilet seat and piano strings, it didn't work! I haven't seen Jeff since...wonder why?
