Time To Ride
Comment Share
Slip into the heart of a trucker, seperated from his wife by many miles.
I am a small town country boy, who writes from the heart, and sings from the soul.
I am a singer/songwriter/musician. I write my own songs, record them, play all instrument parts, and add all vocals. I guess you could say, if something's not good, I can't blame anyone but myself...But, I wouldn't have it any other way. I like to be very involved in my own music, because I see it as a reflection of me, and I want that reflection to hold true to who I am.

Story behind the song
I wrote this song, actually as a truck driver. It was my first year as an over the road truck driver, and I missed my wife terribly. Since I carried my guitar out on the road with me, I decided to write a song about what I was feeling.
Lyrics
Big ole truck, Lonely road, A million miles from my home. Lonely nights, without you lyin' here by my side. It's been weeks now, since we've touched. Lord I miss you so much. And I can't wait to see your face, Open arms, and a loving smile. When I get there, I'll never leave... till again it's time to ride....now it's time to ride Interstate. Two lane highway running hard to get home. Staring down this curvy byway, and praying for the morning light. It's been weeks now since we've touched. Lord I miss you so much. And I can't wait to see your face, open arms, and a loving smile, When I get there, I'll never leave... Till it's time to ride...till it's time to ride. It's been weeks now since we've touched. Lord I miss you so much.. And I can't wait to see your face, open arms, and a loving smile. when I get there I'll never leave...Till It's time to ride Till it's time to ride. till it's time to ride...
