Story behind the song
The day I wrote this song changed the course of my life. I read where Jesus looked at the crowds and was moved with compassion. I prayed to recieve that same type of compassion and I as I look back, I realize that a process of transformation was started. I ended up becoming a CPS foster parent and eventually employed as a chaplain in a juvenile corrections institution. Working with such damaged people has shown me the level of compassion and mercy Jesus has.
