Lyrics
(Verse)
Now like every other story, where we begin//
Is in the depths of depression and immortal sin//
See now, Alex loved Mickie, but Mickie didn’t quite//
Feel right, cuz she was sneaking off every night//
To see David, because he met her with pleasure//
Would treat her so nice, and never forget her//
Birthday, she wanted ta be with him in the worst way//
But she was with Alex, and she loved him in the first place//
Since when, was life so difficult//
You could be in love, but feel so miserable//
This happened every day, until one time, David was crying//
He was leaving for good, couldn’t stand by and//
Know that they could never be together//
He left a note on his dresser, they’d be together forever//
Because David had jumped off the side of a cliff//
So Mickie took the razor blade he left, and slashed both wrists//
(Verse)
Life is a gift, but embrace is the hard part//
So how can relationships last, with hearts apart//
Sometimes happiness, is difficult to ascertain//
And when we finally feel happy, we just complain//
Take Jane, she had the perfect life, two daughters//
And a husband, who came home every night, she ought to//
Smile at every moment she can get//
And she did, until one night the phone call came and yet//
She didn’t cry, she had forgotten how to shed a tear//
But her husband was killed when his car had careered//
Into a tree, at around eighty miles per hour//
Her perfect life took a blow, and everything turned sour//
Until one day, she told both her daughters the truth//
They both cried, which is something she could never do//
So she sent them away, to stay with their grandparents//
And she was found the next day, he life had ended//
(Verse)
John was getting by in school, he was fourteen//
Sitting his SAT’s, living every boys dream//
He was a genius, worked hard in every lesson//
But when lunch came around, life turned depressing//
He couldn’t talk to his teachers, his bullies found out//
And beat him even harder, everyday he got knocked out//
See, little Johnny was a big boy, didn’t have many friends//
No one really cared how his nights where spent//
Something inside, told Johnny to carry on//
That one day he’ll finish school, and he can move on//
But he had taken this abuse, since he was in year two//
He had been assaulted until his jaw came loose//
He told his mother, he’s tripped and fallen//
But they beat him again, he realised life was appalling//
He made a makeshift noose, tied it to the roof//
And he had died, before they could cut him loose//
