Done more for humour than for artistic merit (LOL). The idea was to picture someone flicking from channel to channel in an attempt to find something to watch on TV. The themes used are listed in the Lyrics/Story link above, but have a guess first...

It's just me, a few guitars, some ideas and a little bit of effort.
Well, welcome to my little space on Soundclick. The following musical contributions are basically concept pieces that started off as ideas thanks to the Guitarist Recording Collective (Google for it) - A great site that encourages guitarists of all ages and abilities to create their own works. Nowadays, I play in a band, so I don't have as much time for recording as I would like to, but I would recommend to any musician who feels they are not progressing to start recording, and getting music out on the internet. You probably won't become famous or rich, but once you've done it, you might just be amazed at what you achieve!

Story behind the song
Interestingly, the hardest bit to record was the short static noise that is made when the channels change. I had to use my amp's fizz by turning the gain high and touching an unplugged lead with my finger. The three adverts I covered were (in order) 1. Fererro Rocher - done in a sort of '70's cheezy wah-funk style. Ooh m'seur with zees Fererro Roche' yew arr really spoiling arse. 2. Shake'n'Vac - Slow jazzy style. Pretty easy lead line with some 7th chords thrown in. 3 Tetley Tea - Widdly glam metal. I just had this vision of the Foreman and Sydney headbanging to this (yeah...lay off the drugs)
