I have been writing original lyrics and singing since childhood - from the days when my Aunt would stand me up to sing for her friends, to singing at weddings, with the praise team, and in the church choir. Story behind the song
I originally wrote this song for a male vocalist lead, but when it was produced, I was surprised that I liked the sound of a female vocalist as well! I was motivated to write this song about my friend, Jesus, because Jesus Is SWEET and because I am NOT ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ!
