Well I (Lil' Boy a.k.a. LB b.k.a. Da Genius) started my "beat making" back in the year 2001, in a little town of boredom called Grand Rapids, MI, lol. A sophmore in Highschool I was starting to get a little buzz around the school, so much some of my peers that were trying to "get on" started asking how much I charged for a track; this is the point that I went from a basement "beatmaker" to a local "beatmaker". Soon after, I started honing my writing skills, then artists wanted me to write their songs. I then started taking acts I thought had enough talent to "make it" into my studio on my own to see if I could turn a nothing into a something, this is the point where I became a producer. By the year 2005 I was selling tracks at $500-$1000 per track and also getting pestered to take my career to the major level. But for me, I wanted to get outside of my hometown first before just jumping to the big leauges. So now in the year 2006 I am selling tracks for $800-$3000 a pop, and rising! I am also getting my productional credit by getting played by radio dj's in the midwest. I also produce for the R/B, pop, rock, and hip-hop group Next II None, who is on the verge of getting that major deal. Check em' out at myspace.com/NextIINone. I also am in the process of working with 2 artist of my own. The first is a female singer who is doing the total opposite of what people think she should, her name is "Roze". She's taking her vocal ability and meshing jazz and R/B. The second really needs no introduction, his name is self explanitory. Half, one half rapper, the other half neo/soulful singer. They both should be dropping ther debut albums in 09', so be on the look out. I'm here to meet and make new connects, so if you wanna holla at me, then holla at me! Peace and God Bless. Lost Beatz 4 Life!!!
