Story behind the song
Well, it's been about 6 months since I actually recorded a new song. I guess I needed some inspiration and it is funny that something like an "onion peel" would get me inspired. It's in the rambling talking style of Woody Guthrie or Bob Dylan with some backwards stuff. The story behind the song is about my recent appearance on a radio show and after I left the DJ said I left an onion peel on the couch. I guess it fell out of a sack I was carrying. I like to carry around onion peels. :) So listen with this in mind.

"Onion Peel" I lost my onion peel at the radio station. Now I'm without a meal. I'm so hungry I could eat a seal. Can anyone help me go get one? Chorus Oh well. Gotta clean up my mess. Left a big ole trash heap At the couch at the station. Ohh. Gotta go grab a Billa sack. And then I'll head on down to the corner market. There I'll buy 5 or 6, 7, 8 uh onions. And then I'll have a big ole feast. This way it's a win-win situation. I buy something. They get something bought. And we all have everything - ok? Chorus Oh well. Gotta clean up my mess.
