Hello! I'm very glad you stopped in to listen and visit. :) The message I carry is simply this...Jesus loves you and I do too. Hope you enjoy what you hear, and get a blessing from the music, as God does not give His people gifts to just set them upon the shelf, and never be used. I'm only as good as the Lord helps me to be, and I'm thankful for the blessings He has bestowed upon me. I'm NOT perfect, never claimed to be; but on the other hand, I have a message to minister in song, and I do that to the best of my ability. I fully realize there are many songs I demo here that don't fit my style/voice, but I can't run out and get a singer that fits everytime I write a song. :) What I write or cover comes from the heart. I've endured many hard trials in my life, and each one has, in one way or the other made its way into a song that others can relate to. All of my songs except for noted exceptions are free downloads. I'm not a professional by any means, nor am I interested in becoming one; and so the music is given away just as freely as the message was given to me. Story behind the song
One of the best times I ever have creating music is when I participate in collaborations with other people. :) I've helped many people with different songs....but this time "I" was the one who needed help...and when I asked, VMP(Mike Marshall and the gang) stepped right up. :) This was a song I'd written back in 1999, and knew that it wasn't written for what I did to it then, but I did what I could do with the knowledge I had. I found it sometime back, and asked Mike and the girls if they could build a track for it, plus I asked if the girls would like to sing with me on this.... It was with tears that I heard the finalized track from their end..it exceeded my wildest dreams; and I was SO grateful for their help. :) Then Kurty came forward once again, and played a lead to complement the track. :) This is a song of encouragement....life is even harder for you if you don't have the determination to succeed in getting through...it doesn't matter what you do...the Lord will help you if you but ask Him to' most especially in the heat of the battle we all face on a daily basis. Determination is learned, not a natural gift by any means..honed by hard times, trials...and along with that you must have optimism...knowing a better time will come..if you don't give up. Giving up doesn't exist in my vocabulary UNLESS I know for a fact that I've bitten off more than I could chew..but, you know even in my so-called "failures" the Lord was in those, too....and things happen for a reason..but if it's something that is going to benefit you; whether in the long run or the short one....don't give up..you'll get there. I've lost much, but I've also gained much, because I'm such a stubborn lady. LOL! Enjoy the listen. :D

Very Nice Job on this!!! It just has that "good" feel to it This song uplifts not only with the lyrics and message ,but with the wonderful be-bop sound Excellent writting!Great vocals Tammy and nice background vocals little ladies from VMP...You are so talented at your ages. Mike I havent heard one thing from you yet that didnt impress me.You have a great ability to adjust your playing style to fit the song,its the mark of a true artist. Loved this everyone!!!

Very uplifting song, I wish I'd listened to this one in December, could have done with some encouragement round about then. The harmonies done by the girls with u were beautiful.

Tammy I was touched and moved by this song. It is again another gem and well-written song you have done & great collaboration. I like your natural and calm style of singing. Those harmonies remind me so much of singing in church :-) Amen to this one sister! I played it twice :-) & will be back to play it again! Congrats on its #1 position, it deserves it!

Tammy, nice song , great mixing , production , The harmonies sound great ,These are the girls ? I like the rythm a lot, what is that instrument doing the little licks is that a guitar ? Is that Kurt ? it sounds like my guitar does when I go direct with no effects ,I really like the ending notes of the Lead guitar licks because it has kind of a blues sound to it which gives the song a real country rock feel . Oh and the message is very positive, uplifting, Cheers, D

Excellent work Tammy. Nice hearing the girls. Very good mix too! I probably would rather hear a true electric guitar on the lead fills. Not sure what that other instrument is on the fills sounds neat and different. Might be a tad loud on that one fill. Nice work by all. Thanks for your ears again. Yes Johnny told me it was really distorted and I mixed it once after that and I just mixed it this morning again. I am not sure my ears are working so well on that song. LOL!

That's me...LOL The weather here in Minnesota is beautiful with everything all colored up for fall and believe it or not,,, 75 degrees is the forecast for today.
