Based on the torture of Iraqi prisoners by U.S. soldiers. Some of the sentiments were taken from a 'Time' magazine article.
This is a site to get songwriters in Oldham (UK) to display their wares. We hope that it will become a central point for local songwriters to come to upload their songs and to check out what other songwriters in the area are up to. If we can build this community we would like to organise events etc. that will be of general interest to like-minded people. We welcome any suggestions that will improve the site.

Lyrics
WHAT KIND OF SAVIOURS ARE YOU? You outsiders could never know what it's like to live in our land If we question our rulers, then we're tortured by their hands These cells were once killing rooms, with death they are inlaid Now the beasts have changed uniform, what a difference you have made. You may force me to my knees but I'll just look to heaven and pray May you face the claws of Hell and may they tear your flesh away What kind of saviours are you? Let your conscience answer true. What kind of saviours are you? Let your conscience answer true. You walk into our country so arrogant, so strong Well let us see how brave you are against our bullets and our bombs Your leaders pose for the cameras to be seen as such great men But when the pictures show dead children where do we see them then? What kind of saviours are you? Let your conscience answer true. What kind of saviours are you? Let your conscience answer true. What kind of saviours are you? What kind of saviours are you?
