FREE BEATS,Funky techno, electro, house, HIP HOP, R&B, BIG BEATS, DANCEHALL, POP, intelligent and musically inventive/interesting.
My tracks vary in style from minimal techno, electro, hip hop, house, ambient to banging hard and some of the tracks are hard to categorize. I write and sequence all my music from scratch, using Atari Computers and a very early version of Cubase. All the tracks are recorded live onto a zoom h4 recorder, usually in one take. Looking for an editor to smooth out the rough edges, although I'm very pleased with the live production value. It gives the tracks a lively edge.

Story behind the song
POST TO BLOG BLOG MICKEY MOUSE HAS GROWN UP AN OPERA SINGER.... December 13, 2005 09:24PM Well folks, it's already looking like a repeat performance of the scene last winter - first sign of cold and frost, and the little blighters just wander in and start making themselves at home.... for the city dwellers out there among you, I'll just explain i'm talking about a regular problem here in rural Scotland, mice, and living next to a farm doesn't help matters. Last year, my place became very popular with the mice in the area, after word got out that i wasn't a killer mouse trap type, and that the worst that might happen to them, would be to get caught in my humane trap, and subsequently chucked out. My mother said i was daft, and should kill them, as they would just come back if i showed them the door. I took the second bit of her advice seriously, and thereafter took the captured mice by car a short distance over the local bridge, and freed them on the opposite side of the river - i thought to myself at the time, that the little buggers would have to be pretty strong swimmers, to be in with even the slightest chance of crossing the fast moving waters and then make it back to my place.... alas, having thought i'd out-manouvered them, for every mouse i caught and freed, there seemed a never ending source of replacements. By the February, this situation had become a serious battle of wits, with the mice becoming ever more audacious in their determination to stay with me for the duration of the winter - and they were slowly winning the battle - the constant checking of the traps - the ferrying of the captured across the river - it was becoming like a full time job dear readers.... Well, the final crunch came when i realised that a whole mouse family had taken up residence in the innards of my livingroom coal fireplace, causing me the greatest of inconvenience and shivers.... of course the mice were well aware by this time that being a total softy, i would never have the heart to light my fire and smoke them out of their comfortable accomodation.... They started to get really cocky after a while, so confident in their tenure they were, that the daddy mouse would walk right out from the fireplace, scurry accross the room to my dogs food bowl, grab a biscuit then run back home to feed the rest of the family - i could hardly credit their barefaced cheek when they first pulled this stunt on me! Then, if that wasn't enough to contend with, I was lying resting quietly on the sofa late one nite, when in the stillness of the hour, i started to think i could hear singing away in the distance.... i had to strain at first to hear it, but as i focussed my attention, the sounds became clearer.... i thought to myself, 'that sounds just like a refrain from Mozarts Requiem', and continued to attempt to discover the location of the singing - well dear reader, you'd hardly believe it, but yes, the operatic melodies were hailing from the fireplace! The little blighters were obviously so thrilled with their new home and regular food supply, that they had taken up amateur operatics! At first i thought i must be hallucinating, but no, it was unmistakably the sound of a mouse family sing along - unreal or what! I ventured to tell a couple of friends this mousy tale, but given the looks cast in my direction when i mentioned the rodents obsessions with classical music and their singing abilities, i decided it was best to probably keep quiet about the whole affair, having been carted of to the local psychiatric hospital for telling similarly outlandish stories in the past.... 'best not take any chances', i thought to myself.... Well dear reader, I couldn't believe my luck the other day, when the discovery of my singing Von Trapp mouse family was finally vindicated in the letters page of a highly reputable science magazine, which goes like this..
