a Caribbean/Calypso mid-tempo song featuring Randy Wright on DX7; with 70 X 7 backing me.
C'est moi on these songs doing 99 percent of da vocals. 100 percent of rhythm guitar and flute work.
This is some of the music I have written over the years. Most are demos and captured off of cassette tapes to mp3. Some of the songs are with my band, 70 X 7, some are with Ben Stone, and some are with Randy Wright. If this goes over well, I will get busy with music software and add some of the newest stuff. Let me know what you think.

Story behind the song
It's just a meditation on the Fruits of the Holy Spirit in the lives of believers...with a Calypso feel. Based on Galations 6.
Lyrics
REVISED FIRST VERSE (not on the recording) The Lord has made us just like trees That He's planted by the waters: we're Zion's sons and daughters; He has made us free! And He has interwoven all our roots You with me, and me with you we're grounded in His truth and growing into maturity. BRIDGE But the season of harvest is here; will we be found laden--- or keep our Master waitin' to taste all the fruit that we should bear? CHORUS He wants to reap a little love, get some joy and gentleness from your fruit trees. And, maybe take a bite of the fruit of patience to see if it's really sweet! Then He'll pick a little peace, and some kindness, goodness--- but don't leave meekness out! 'Cause when He tastes your spirit's fruit, it'll leave a good taste in His mouth. So, my family, let's bear the fruit we should so the needy ones can eat; oh, let 'em taste and they will see that truly our Lord is so good! Beloved, let your fruit be seen so thick the limbs are bendin' down to feed the hungry world around; for we have the food the dying world needs! Chorus II So, let them reap a little love, get some joy and gentleness out of your fruit trees. And, maybe take a bite of the fruit of patience to see if it's really sweet! Let them pick a little peace, and some kindness, goodness--- but don't leave self-control out! 'Cause when they taste your spirit's fruit, it'll leave a good taste in their mouths. Yes, when they taste the Spirit's fruit it'll leave a good taste in their mouths!
