Just me and my banjo...writing and singing about how things used to be long ago in the 30;s and 40's and how those experiences affect today. I started out wanting to get on record these stories and songs for my grandchildren; but after doing it for a while, others have expresses interest so we are recording and putting them out there.

Oh Verne, very touching song. Ones eyes tell us a lot. They seem to get clouded and distant as their time nears. I'm glad you saw your Dads true eyes one last time before he passed.
