We are THE dAY. We have been together for about 9 years now. Rameen Khan is the singer and lead guitarist. Saier Sadiq is the rythm guitarist. Brian White is the drummer. Garrett Hedman is the bassist. We have been through a lot as a band, some good, some not so good, but all of it has definitely been memorable. I don't know if we are really influenced by any particular band, but there are definitely some bands that we like listening to. Stone Roses, Oasis, Ride, Charlatans, My Bloody Valentine and Radiohead have always been some of our favorites. We have not stayed together, for any other reason, except that we still enjoy creating new music and allowing ourselves to grow as people and have that be expressed through our sound. We are currently working on a new album, which we feel is the most mature, and relevant piece of work that we have done.
