Story behind the song
When IK Multimedia released their amp plug-in 'Amplitube Hendrix', in early 2008 they asked for people to record their own take of the Woodstock show stopper. At the time the Iraq thing was in full flight, and Islamic fundamentalism was a big headache for the western world in general, not just the US. It still is really. Anyway, here's my shot at it.
