For two altos/mezzo-sopranos and piano. I'm singing all vocal parts, and the piano (for now) is courtesy of whatever sampling system Finale Notepad uses.

Story behind the song
Although it probably doesn't show much anymore, I was musing about the Lady of the Lake from Arthurian legend. This song isn't really about the Lady of the Lake; it's just what happened when I sat around for too long thinking about what it might be like waiting for some nutty future king of England to come claim his sword.
Lyrics
-Verse 1-
Doll in the deep,
Sunken cold and lifeless.
I breathe ice, crystal fog
Tears my throat.
See me here, traveler,
Make a dead blue hand gain life.
Set my blood moving once more,
Set me free
-Chorus-
Through frosted glass eyes I watch,
I want,
I crave,
I yearn for a touch.
-Verse 2-
Far away, the ripples creep closer.
Soon enough, I will be caught.
Presently I draw my first warm gasp of air,
And drink in sunlight though
My vision is blurring
-Chorus-
-Verse 3-
Hand clasped in hand, pulling from the surface
There remains a shield: water about me.
-Chorus-
Frosted glass eyes,
Frosted glass eyes,
Frosted over to blind.
Frosted glass,
Frosted glass,
So forever
Through frosted glass eyes I watch,
I want
I crave
I yearn for a touch,
I cannot be touched,
And now these empty orbs close.
