Outstanding worship song written by Steve Mitchell, worship leader at the Metro Church in Saddle Brook, NJ. Used by his gracious permission.
pop rock songwriter blues country christian contemporary gospel inspirational ministry worship praise music outreach
Contemporary Christian Pop Ballads with annointed lyrics, tasty licks, jazzy leads - and some country, blues, and folk influences. These songs are inspired!
There is no fixed "band". The chief songwriter, vocalist, guitar player, bass player and keyboard player is the Rev. Bill Daviet. Backing vocals on many tracks by his lovely wife, Lynne Daviet. Drums for most songs were provided by Jesus LeBron (Delaware Twp, PA - check him out at: or at his homepage - ), and guitar fills/solos on most songs by Jeff Gaynor of Franklin, NJ.

Story behind the song
After recording several Christian 'rock' songs with "A Band of Christians" in 2006, the group decided to record an acoustic version of this wonderful worship song. Jesus LeBron played congas and sang lead vocal, Bill played acoustic guitar, Chris A played bass and Lynne also sang vocal. This is a live recording in a small room and due to microphone bleed we could not enhance the recording but we hope the beauty of this song comes through. Thanks again to Steve Mitchell for allowing us to use this on the website.
Lyrics
He is wearing - a golden sash 'round his waist - and I know that He is walking here in this place. From before Him, there flows a river of fire - let it flow Lord in this place - for that's our desire Ancient of Days - You are the Ancient of Days - We will worship as You walk in this holy place. Ancient of days - you are the ancient of days - we will bow down as You walk in this holy place O the angels - are falling down at your feet - as they cry out Holy Holy, Holy is He From before you there flows a river of fire - and it's consuming every single thing- that dares defy Your love for us (Chords Am - C - D - G - Am)
