Sort of a protest song devoted to one of my favorite past times.

Story behind the song
I just got back from six solid days of fishing in Wisconsin. Seven different lakes, 100+ fish caught, nine different species, no muskie . One of the best weeks in my life, haven't felt so relaxed for a long time. Inspired me to record this song.
Lyrics
Gone Fishin Well I’m tired of working for a living And giving half my money to Sam Selling out our country for a cheaper rate And nobody seems to give a damn So, I’m going fishin Let’s all go fishin The world should go fishin But now I’m just a wishin Floating in a boat and sinking a line There’s nothing else that seems as fine Feeling that tug and landing a fish Taking my picture and filling my dish I don’t want to hear about change from Obama And not sure what’s new with John McCain Politicians promise happiness And in the end it’s all in vain. So, I’m going fishin Let’s all go fishin The world should go fishin But now I’m just a wishin Floating in a boat and sinking a line There’s nothing else that seems as fine. Feeling that tug and landing a fish Taking my picture and filling my dish I don’t care where Brett Favre is playing Or who’s sleeping in Paris Hilton’s beds To much attention to egos and money And not enough to what goes into our heads So, I’m going fishin Let’s all go fishin The world should go fishin But now I’m just a wishin
