Rock, pop, country and contemporary Christian is my current aim, though my style can range from soft ballads to heavy metal.
Brief history: I've been writing songs since 1978, spanning various genres. Most tend to fall into the pop/adult contemporary category. For the past several years, I've turned my focus more to Contemporary Christian music; it's what I enjoy listening to, and it gives my music some real meaning and purpose ... at least to me ... and hopefully to those who listen to it. Looking back now, I see religious connotations in some of my older material, as well.

Lyrics
I look around, and my life's so bare There's just an empty space You used to be right there I find myself still holding on To a love you said is gone Just look around at where you are You might see a rainbow's end You might see shooting stars But when they fade away and disappear You know I'll be waiting here REFRAIN: I really love you girl I meant to tell you more And now I just can't believe it (I just can't believe) CHORUS: I'm stuck in the middle Of a lost and lonely dream (In the middle of a lonely dream) It must be a riddle 'Cause you're playing games with me CHORUS II and III ADD: You said you're leaving me behind But I know it's just a line In this fantasy of mine I wish that someone would wake me In (From) this lost and lonely dream I make believe that you're still here It's not so hard to do Your picture's everywhere Imagination gets the best of me And I'm a love-lost refugee REFRAIN CHORUS II BRIDGE: I still remember all the times we had They weren't so bad And you know that I would take them all back again, yeah I'd take those times again Yeah, yeah. You know I would ... take those times again REFRAIN CHORUS III
