Story behind the song
We start with a hornpipe called "Boys of Blue Hill" played here "a la scottish". This is followed by "Scotland The Brave", one of the best loved Scotish tunes. We often use it to accompany the ever popular dance "Gay Gordons". The final tune "Dashing White Sergeant" is the backing for another well known dance of the same name.
