A story about a man who lost his girlfriend. He is regretting that he never loved her but missing the comfort of what that they had, feeling Dead and Gone in perspective to his life before she died.

Stoddard Blackall and his piano. Oh, and his voice.
First of all, I'm not really a band. I'm a guy who writes music because it feels so amazingly good. I love to go back and play my music to myself because it sooths me. I love how I don't have to play it any other way than the way I want to play it. But I also LOVE to play to other people because I love to play to other people. It just feels great.

Story behind the song
I wanted to write a song with the chorus, Dead and Gone.
Lyrics
Dead and Gone I watch the sun, Burn out the sky, The day will come, When all my bones are dry. Flowers surround me, Nothing but stems with wigs, Earth worms astound me, That all they do is dig, ‘Til they’re, Dead and gone forever more, Dead and gone forever more. Her smile spins, Above the wheel, The picture’s thin, But the memories are real. Families go by me, Nothing but worn out love, Rain comes and hides me, From everything I was, Leaving me, Dead and gone forever more, Dead and gone forever more. No more secrets, Who’s to speak with, When there’s none left to be fooled, No one left, To be fooled by me. The moon feeds our shelters, With nothing but stolen rays, Too late to tell her, I never felt the same, Cause she’s, Dead and gone forever more, Dead and gone forever more.
