Lyrics
And we're back in the motions and decree
without manic devotion, could we dream?
Are we who we seem throughout our famed past
As we ride on a wave, slip, and change fast
And drown in the same rain that reigns gain
So you frown as you tame dames by game playing
But you can't cause the pain stays and stains grey
And soon you find your strange ways' a mainstay
Hope slain as you pray for a way past the mayday
Angry past the raged sage and your plauged ways
Fried the brain waves through the rifts and flares
Found where change lays and its shifty lairs
Thick fog so I lift the air, but can't see
Should I raze the tree I grew and plant seeds?
Maybe I should shut down and just rest the brain
Cause the only thing that stays the same's just death and change
We're padding decay with play, life passing away
Thrashing to stay, colors stashing the grey
Mind in thrust- food for thought, just grind it up
We keep chasing but what do we find in love?
Halters shaking, altercations
We make the race, but we falter placing
When it's all forsaken, still have the might to hope
But still doubt. Through strife, got the right to cope
Steel curtains, still inverted
Weld through, be real, and steal in furtive
Christ or potions? Found a rightful notion
My choice of worship- mic devotion
Leave in peace with life and a freezing breeze (chill)
Provide light when I write with no reading fees
Rites passed, though I'm shoved in strife
Through change, still say "peace, love, and life"
