The Early Revolution is a new project lead by Mel X....all songs were written and performed by Mel X with additional guitars on 'Everything you know is wrong' and 'It's time to jump my friend' by Scruff, Female voices on 'Initiation' by Cassie and 'Welcome to the Revolution' speech by Malcom X. Inpired by classic albums such as The Who's 'Tommy' and Husker Du's 'Zen Arcade' the Music on this page is starting to evolve into a post-modern concept album, a collection of songs that will tell a story through the lyrics. (when I have found a suitable vocalist) The story will be based loosely on the beliefs of David Ike, Grant Morrison's comic cook 'The Invisibles', the writing of Howard Zinn and Noam Chomsky, with a dash of Buddhist philosophy and Hindu religion....it will be a journey into the unknown.
