The thing about it is, I got so upset with the direction hiphop's was taking that I stopped doing music for a long time. So long alot of people forget I use to do the shit before it became a fad, and that i'm fuckin' nice. I was selling my little tapes in school, opening up for artists and all that, but niggas nowadays be using rap for a hustle, which is cool, but it makes the music a shitty product, instead of a nigga's art. It's really wack to the point where it ain't even fresh to be a rapper anymore, in my eyes. The only reason I still do it is because I feel people need more choices besides that corny shit on the radio all day, plus I just can't leave rap alone, not on some Jay-Z shit though, the game don't need me, I need the game. If you don't like real hiphop music, you ain't even got no business listening to my shit in the first place, so I don't care how people feel about my songs or none of that. I do it from the heart cause I love to write, and that's really it. As long as when niggas hear me, they feel me, I'm good."
