Glenn asked me and another songwriter friend of mine to write music for this lyric. He explained that he got the idea from those digital picture frames where the picture is always changing. This was my offering
acoustic folk vocal country vocal harmony
Artist picture
Mostly acoustic sounds with real lyrics and vocal harmonies.
Just some simple acoustic sounds with maybe some rythem and strings thrown in. Feel free to comment on my message board. I like getting comments on my work... Good or bad. Thanks enjoy

Lyrics
MY LIFE IN PICTURES I saw your face in a picture frame I turned around and the scene had changed One fleeting vision / come and gone I boxed you in; tried to make it last Spending my days inside the past Why can’t this river / be a pond? Build: Where water portrays / An image so clear Untouched by the waves / Unbroken by tears Chorus: My life / In pictures It’s where I long to be Everything’s perfect And nothing really dies My life / In pictures I’m watching the scenery And somehow it’s worth it ‘Cause you never say goodbye But this ain’t the way I pictured My life Verse 2: I hold a photo in my grasp I’m wondering what had made you laugh Was it derision? Well, I don’t mind. ‘Cause in my head, I told a joke. Making you smile with the words I spoke And we went out walking / For awhile. Build: Then you took my hand / And said you would stay Oh, I can almost believe / It happened that way Repeat chorus Bridge: They say a picture’s worth a thousand words But sometimes, the words aren’t really true And even though the camera don’t lie Why’s it saying I belong with you? Repeat Chorus This ain't the way I pictured our life
