My name is Adam Thorton, I am 16, and an aspiring musician. I have been writing songs since I was about 14 and recording songs since I was about 11. I have been trying to make a real effort to get myself to sound as best as I can, and the songs on the fallowing pages are the result. With each one I am learning something new, and (I think) getting a little better as they go. I hope one day I can make it into the buisness, whether it be through producing, or performing myself. Story behind the song
It is about my best friend, who is basically a mental doppelganger of myself. Well, exept he Isn't evil, and neither am I. I guess double would be a better word, though it is less impressive, and far less pompous. It made me think, I have been trying to march to the beat of a diffrent drummer my whole life, only to find out that somebody else marches to the same beat. That is the story behind the song.
