Hello Dawn,
Love this song, it's a true to life portait of a day in the life. I like it when a song makes me stop and think. Keep the music cming.

Dear Dawn,
This is a beautiful story!!! And again I say, you have such a beautiful voice with a wonderful style to your music. I don't know whether to keep it simple or bring in the many options of full orchestration. I can hear so much in my mind,,, but that's just me. It's such a shame that you're not in the Nashville scene with your writing.. because you do indeed have the gift... writing and singing and playing.
I do wish you much success and honestly wish you would pursue this dream...You don't know what you're missing and the world doesn't know what they're missing,, YET!
You are that good!!!
Your Friend,
BOB
I like all your songs, Dawn, but I have to say that this one is my favorite one you've written by far. I think this one is just masterful. It has a beautiful melody that keeps building upon itself, growing more and more powerful, and the words tell a story while teaching us life-lessons, as well. The part where you asked the children if you could play, too, was just perfect. It's true that we get too angry and frustrated over stuff that doesn't really matter, which makes us miss a lot more of the sweeter points in life that we should't be missing out on. This song is a great reminder of that. Great job...actually made me misty-eyed!!
