Lallalalalalalaa Cables LALALALALAAA Cables Everywhere It was a nice Marshal 401 or something, combo...and the same beautiful Squier 51 for testing these cables. As you can see in the picture i had an assortment of cables. Some very expensive....even a Monster cable. Some cheap. in the end no sound difference really. but materials is real, and the old traditional switchcraft plugs seemed better built, solid and good soldering, attached to some good old Beldin cable...it can't be beat. the monster cable is shiny and nice, if you can afford it why not it might help with the flash factor. overall winner, I'd say is the switchcraft/standard plugs. I have no need for gold plated stuff that costs $80 when a $15 cable is great. I think the cheap ones will fail with any real usage , crappy wire, crappy solder connections, crappy materials like the loose male end piece thats so common. enjoy....
