It would be wrong to call us a throw back. But we are all heavily influenced from a time when music was musical. An influence from the 60's, 70's, and 80's rock
We are just a few musicians who always had serious musical aspirations ,alas, real life got in the way. And then a few years ago, we were presented with an opportunity to get together, write, and record... One of the common bonds between us all is the disappointment in the current music scene on the radio and worldwide. What ever happened when you actually had to know how to play an instrument to be a musician in a band? What ever happened to the time when good bands also had good hooks in their songs? We know that type of music is still out there. It just seems that you hardly hear it anymore.

Story behind the song
Garth (our lead guitar player) was the principle writer. The song is a translation of two basic polarities. Doing what you have to do to survive and struggling to do what you want to do in a narrow time frame. This is our second attempt at this song. Our first attempt did not capture the energy of the song that it had when we played live. At 8 minutes long (we never meant for this to happen), it more of an anthem to stresses of life than one of our regular songs. By the way, despite the "war correspodence" in the middle of the song, this is neither a pro or anti-war song. We put it there simple as a contrast to life in other lands as compared to life in our own backyards.
Lyrics
It really took hold I live in a comfort zone And all I really need, is obscurity Let's all lend a hand You feed my anxiety Leave me alone, is my reality So tired, So wired So tired, So wired Maybe I should take a little holiday in Spain Formenteras nice, and sunshine finds you when you're down But when I want to run, I get a wake up You never really try until you're tied down It's never too late I've heard that tune a hundred times Why do you insist, on keeping me alive You go what it takes I don't want to think like that Can't ever relax, you keep letting go So tired, So wired So tired, So wired Maybe I should take a little holiday in Spain Formenteras nice, and sunshine finds you when you're down But when I want to run, I get a wake up You never really try until you break down SOLO It really took hold I live in a comfort zone And all you really need, is obscurity Let's all lend a hand You feel my anxiety Leave me alone, And set me free So tired, So wired So tired, So wired So tired, So wired So tired, So wired
