I was so excited when lasse asked to cover this song. it's an old one, that's for sure. Lasse's version is better than the original basement tape also here on my music page! Thank you Lasse!!

Story behind the song
My grandmother had been gone since i was 13, and she was great, i missed her very much. but i had become a member of my partners family, and my new grandma was a story teller. she is a story teller. chipper and lively and i wanted a grandma like that in my life, so i dreamed up this relationship, and eventually put it to the page and onto a cassette tape - if you remember! i remember taping reel-to-reel! well, that's the story.
