****THIS IS THE UNEDITED ROUGH CUT**** Before I begin to tell you about this song, let me say that there are still a few kinks I need to work out with this song. As a whole, it's fine. But there are a few parts where there are some odd static feedbacks, and there are several glitches. *****THIS IS THE ROUGH EDIT***** "The Faceless Moon EP" has been in the works for about 6 months, with production having just begun somewhere around 3 weeks ago. I felt bad, because I planned on releasing a full-blown Trance/Rave album, but as production began I fell into a diffrent sound. So as "Consumed" began to be concieved, I fell into a huge ambient/nu-jazz/lounge/chill phase (there are plans for a Consumed II sometime in '09). I was extreamly satisfyed with the album and decided to do a Deluxe Edition for it. Durring the final edits of the Deluxe Edition of "Consumed" I had time to begin work on my original album. Having taken a 12 month break, I wanted to jump back in with some Trance again. So my first step was to tell people to forget everything they know about me, throw away all expectations, and prepair for a world of change. So what I did was break away from the entire trance/techno genre and reinvented myself with ambience, to let everyone know there were no more boundries. Seeing the large sucess of that venture, I wanted to see how well my Trance would be. "The Faceless Moon EP" was born, just a little taste for the fans to hold them over until "Conusmed [Deluxe 2-Disc Edition]" was released. I wanted the fans to see how much of a change I had made, and give them the old school Astroid Andy with a whole new twist. The first song was "Swallowing the Sun" and all though it was a rough edit, people ate it right up. It was released by a small promotion company, Euphoriq Promotions (www.myspace.com/EuphoriqPromotions), and the fans knew there was something growing inside me. At first there were some major issues transfering the songs into MP3s, information was lost, beats were skipped, static was added. Once I got the problems out of the way, things were ready for production. Trance was always a huge influence for me, having mixed several diffrent genres togather in one song in the past. This is my treat for everyone who didn't like my music. All the people who didn't belive in me. This is the new sound of Astroid Andy.
