This is what I wrote two days after I almost lost my wife due to an ectopic prgnancy.

Chorus: I can smile today, because of you You bring a brighter day into view I can smile today, because of you You bring a brighter day into view She felt a pain in her belly, as I came home from work It’s much more than a cramp, to the hospital for sure Next thing she’s on the table, they bring her back to life twice You know she’s very lucky, but you still have your wife. Chorus: When her lips went blue, the tube had burst She was seven weeks pregnant, and there won’t be a birth. A phone call the next morning, revealed a new light Will you adopt my baby? I can not raise it right. Chorus: Our lives have changed forever, some would say we grew up Some say we have matured, we just started to live You can’t take for granted the things that happen in life You’ve got to grab what you want, don’t let life pass you by.
