Here’s a story from not to long ago, met this girl from the west side barrio. She new her way around the local circuit class, word on the street says she’ll never be surpassed But I was taken by the mystery of her eyes, I had to have her that girl some how some way no lie I had to make her mine, I can’t deny Mustang Girl you stole my heart away, Now I’m trying to make it day to day I saw her climb into that shining mean machine, 5.0 so lean so mean so clean. She fired that baby up and made that engine roar, then pushed the peddle down until it hit the floor With every gear she hit I heard the legend grow, No one could touch her they just stood & watched her go Son let me tell you it really was a site, there’s just no sense in trying to put up a fight. I tried to tell her that she should be mine, no other woman had ever looked so fine. She had the curves to match that mean machine, she handled everything just like a queen. But as I tried to get up close, She made it clear she wouldn’t be deposed. She let me know I didn’t have a chance, On this night there wouldn’t be romance. I said someday I’m goanna try again, She said take care until I see you then. I smiled at her as I let her know, This would be the last that I’d let her go.
