We are Tim and Marilyn Lamberson owners of "State of the Heart Music". We formed the musical project "INSITU" in 1999 and have worked together since to write, record and produce our original music at Makin' Tracks, our home studio. We both come from different musical backgrounds ranging from Bluegrass to Hard Rock, but share in common inspiring messages in our music. We blend positive messages, vocal melodies and hooky musical lines to create a unique sound of our own. Check out our songs !

Story behind the song
I was, and am concerned about urban sprall and the destruction of habitats and the wild life that lives in them. We need to live in balance and share this planet with all life. I think this song says it well.
Lyrics
It wasn't very long ago Animals all used to roam Throughout the forest, hills and plains Until the times all changed Habitats were rearranged Now their running out of room (Chorus) Open spaces are what we all need Give us room so we can all breath Open spaces are what we all need to share We need to make a plan Help divide and share the land Give 'em all a place that they can be Good fish the streams would yield Elk and deer graze in the field Eagle and the hawk, they soar so free (Chorus) (Solo) (Repeat Verse 2) (Chorus)
