Story behind the song
Many people have written to me over the past two years asking me to write purely instrumental music. Their reasons are varied, but all have a common thread. While realising the importance of language in prayer and spirituality, perhaps even coming from other cultures, language can present a barrier preventing them from journying into the source of all life, the creative spirit of love, deep within their being. It is my hope that these instrumental chants, which are based on earlier compositions and which are rooted in contemplation and prayer, will help to lead people to a deeper prayfulness and a new awakening to the spirit of love who eternally waits to renew and transform us.
