Very cool as usual, you are one one the most consistantly original songwriters I know, but you so have your own signature style...I feel pretty confident if I was driving down the road one day and a David Lunbeck tune came on I'd recognize it immediately! That's pretty cool man...

Nice melody with catchy middle eight and original instrumental backin.Somewhere in the middle of the song the arrangment is kinda changin',-much like two different mixes of "Strawberry Fields" glued together.Would have make a great B-side for your hit single,-if we would live in 60s.Vocal performance and phrasing are again very idiosyncratic in a good sense.Rated!!

David, I like the vocal cadence and syncopation of the back up vox on this one. The organ flourishes are also top notch. The emotional urgency ("...there's GOT to be...") reminds me of Otis Redding. Your guitar tapestry is (as usual) full and totally original. This lead vocal cadence is really neat. Your lyrics are soooooo totally different from anything I am hearing these days - so colorful, emotional and abstract - they draw the listener into your world where we experience your musical point of view from your perspective, not as a guest, but almost as if we were singing the song ourselves. Not sure if that makes sense, but your art deserves to be heard.

I really like this..and the message in the song is STRONG! :)
The musical tapestry is woven together VERY well, my friend. :)
The only thing I think, though, I don't even hear a hint of reverb in your vocals..it sounds a little dry..but this can go like it is.
But the musical parts are standing out..sounding nice. :D
