Acoustic rhythms, crunchy riffs, ambient lead, melodic and at times grinding vocals make up good nite irene's sound. Their debut self titled EP was recorded at Bent Sound Recording Studio in Victoria on a very tight budget. Nevertheless, the disc has received loads of good press. "A very unique sound, I love it!" Coming on strong since there induction in the scene in late 2000, good nite irene has steadily build there fan base and popularity by gigging throughout British Columbia. Plans are in the works to expand eastward in late summer early fall. When asked about the band's future goals front man Kristofer Degaust replied "We just want to keep writing better songs, if I really love the songs I'm playing, I'm happy. I believe if we continue to work hard and improve, we'll be able to play for a living and I guess that's the real goal."
