Story behind the song
History (Beginnings): Kai Hansen in concert. In 1985 Helloween it recorded his first album, a miniones autotitulado that contained 5 subjects. The miniones was very many successful, and during this same year, the then quartet recorded and sent its first album, titleholder " Walls of Jericho". Nevertheless, during following tour, it got to be obvious that Hansen had difficulties to sing and to touch the guitar at the same time. The last appearance of main Kai as singing of the band was in 1986 with single " Judas" , that contained the song of the same name and some subjects in direct. After the difficulty of Hansen to touch the guitar and to sing simultaneously, besides its constant problems with its voice, the idea arose to include a fifth member. Then, Helloween began to look for a new singer. His first option was to recruit to Ralf Scheepers of the group " Tyran Pace" , nevertheless, before its refusal, the band finished recruiting to a young person of 18 years of a small well-known local band like " III Prophecy" , Michael Kiske.
