Story behind the song
How many of us justify the plight of the homeless and jobless with the attitude "Get a job?" Or maybe we all feel it isn't our problem to resolve? Many are in a true bind and seriously need our help. But the panhandling, lazy, worthless few among them make their cross harder to bear.
