Lyrics
Saw you in a magazine The most soulful eyes I'd ever seen before Seeking someone from the other side Come and rescue you from the rising tide Cross the borderline tonight Cross the borderline tonight Czechoslovakian Girl, from such a fragmented world They thought they'd control you But no walls could hold you, Czechoslovakian Girl

Love the organs here! This song about a mysterious girl is well performed and produced... Reminded me a little of the 80s group "Aha". Cheers, Bob

Bill, Great textures on this one - blending eastern Euro folk sounds with contemporary instrumentation. Your voice sounds a bit like Tom Petty on this track. Coulda used a middle 8/bridge section, but there are no flaws here. Great job.

Hi Bill, from the 'Soviet' type intro, into the catchy body of the tune, I loved every 3 minutes of it. Superb song. I wouldn't want to spell Checkoslovackian in a spelling competition ! lol

Hi Bill, Well finally made it over. Now the biggest challenge just seeing the title was how to work Czechoslovakian Girl into a hook/chorus. You pulled it off great job on that. Nice uptempo which is my favorite style. Cool Harp. Very good melody. A mix of euro techno/80s dance music and some nice harmony. Perhaps this is a new genre. Very original idea on the lyrics as well. From a historical perpspective it takes us back a few years. OVerall nice work.
