'Dead Life' is just me, a guitar, and some computer gadgetry. Fuelled by copious amounts of Pepsi Max and pineapple chunks, I write, arrange* and play all you can hear. Sadly I have the voice, not of an angel, but of an angle-grinder, otherwise you'd also have to put up with my morose and, frankly, disturbing lyrics. * That's 'arrange' in the broadest, sketchiest form of the word.

Story behind the song
I was trying to create a song based on a single, repetitive riff; A theme that continued throughout the whole song. There's a simple four note pick that is there pretty much for the entirety, though it does get a little buried at times. The bass and guitar reminds me a little of Metallica's 'Harvester of Sorrow', but my wife reckons it sounds more like a James Bond theme.
