Story behind the song

I wrote this song during one of the hardest decision making times of my life.  I could stay in a job/ministry that I loved or obey what I thought was the voice of God. How could he be asking me to leave the correctional chaplain's job that I thought I would be doing until I retired? What was he taking me to? I wrote the second verse the day I decided to be obediant.  This has lead to a new journey, full of surprises, that I am still walking out today. A CD of the songs I have written is part of the surprise package!
