Story behind the song
This is another one about my ex-boyfriend. The night before our three month anniversary he said "I'm giving you my heart," I guess because he couldn't get up the courage to say "I love you." (He finally said I love you the next night). And then eventually he dumped me, and it seemed like I'd pretty much lost his heart somehow and he still had mine. And there ya go. Didn't write this until over a year later, though.
