We Need A Change We Can Believe In & A Personal Revolution Just something I wrote after watching the news... it's about the country and the downward spiral it's in and what that means for the common folk.

Story behind the song
I was watching the news and began to get depressed. I was inspired (if you can call it that) to write this song. It turned out pretty good, I think.
Lyrics
Recession Depression Is it a war against oppression? As a 9 to 5 becomes a 9 to 9 WITH a pay decrease This country has ceased To be number one There's nothing fun about deciding whether this month You should go to the doctor or eat Or laying awake at night wondering how you're going to feed your family None of us asked for this shit life that's hit or miss Or these thousands of dollars of debt No, what we want is a clear head I was too young to vote you in So I'll have to pay for a war that we can't win And it's unfair that the poor have to pay for The riches errors When the poor can't afford to correct a Vision error No insurance No assurance This is no way to live I don't want to have nothing to give My kids under the Christmas tree That's not how a child's life should be We need someone to set us free...
